Steps In Returnable Packaging Design And
Manufacturing
1. Customer sends parts to us with
a completed Dunnage Request Form.
2. Using the Dunnage Request Form,
we know what size the tote is, and how many parts the customer would like
to fit in .
3. Once we have come up with a
concept, we make a sample on our sample table and ship it to the customer
for approval.
4. If there are any changes
desired, we make a revision and re-submit to the customer.
5. Once we receive approval, a
quote is issued in the quantity desired for mass production.
6. We receive a purchase order from
the customer, and the process begins for placing die orders, and verifying
part dimensions for quality control purposes.
7. After the parts have been die
cut, assembly begins.
8. If the customer has purchased totes
for the packaging, the Dunnage is inserted and secured to the containers.
9. The completed Dunnage order is
shipped to the customer utilizing LTL carriers or truckload haulers
